In this painting I tried to explore the interplay of opposing forces—warmth and coolness, structure and spontaneity, presence and absence for my astrophysicist friend.  Bold bands of rich crimson, luminous gold, and deep teal create a dynamic tension, reachibng a delicate equilibrium found in nature and human experience. Textured yet fluid, this piece invites contemplation on the harmony that emerges when contrasts coexist even in the universe.
